KO WAI MĀTOU? (Who are we)
We are Ash, Parns and Nat. We are māmā who are passionate about making our tamariki (children) and whanau (family) proud.
We aspire to produce kākahu that empower and uplift people with the unique designs we create using inspiration from our traditional Māori culture and their significant meanings.
We are proud to be a kaupapa Māori pakihi (business) who continuously strive to do well not only for ourselves but for our people.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Nōku -translates to mine, or belonging to me (ownership)
Nōku was the name that was gifted to us by two kaumatua here in Ngati Kahungunu, Tiwana Aranui and Hawira Hape
For us it is about taking ownership of our business, something we are deeply passionate about and, showcasing our culture in a positive light. Each tohu (design) has its own significance to one’s journey in life.
This name was fitting for us as three māmā who were ready to evolve our dreams of having our own pakihi.
What Our Customers are Saying

"NŌKU TE PIKINGA"
We developed a whakataukī (proverb) to enhance the meaning of what our kaupapa is about.
"Nōku te pikinga"
"The journey is mine"
This can be applied to any context in life. We all go through ups and downs and learn as we go. This is the essence of Nōku.
