This New Zealand made children's dress is heat pressed with a tohu (design) on the front and the back that tells a story. This dress is part of the Parekura collection.
This tohu (design) talks about one’s complete journey, including the past, present, and future.
The bottom poutama talks about you and the knowledge you have learnt in your past. Stretching up in to the Mangopare design it acknowledges you internalising your whakaaro (thoughts) and situations you may be challenged with.
The taimana in the middle represents you as a person and the whare tapawha concept (taha tinana, taha wairua, taha hinengaro, taha whanau).
The Mangopare above, heading upwards, is you internalising your next pathways you may embark on. The poutama at the top is all the knowledge yet to be gained from these experiences.
This is the essence of our company, to be inclusive of all that you are and all that you can be.
